Rio Rico High School students are proudly promoting CTE Month through a variety of engaging activities that highlight the impact of Career and Technical Education programs. CTE provides hands-on learning experiences that prepare students for real-world careers and postsecondary opportunities. Students also have the opportunity to participate in Career and Technical Student Organizations, earn industry-recognized credentials, and most importantly, demonstrate their knowledge and skills in meaningful ways. Special thanks to all our dedicated CTE teachers for their commitment.

Rio Rico High School Career & Technical Education Department continue to promote CTE Month by highlighting the value and positive impact to all students. The Engineering Student Organization participated in a community service project to help clean the Santa Cruz River. Students worked together to remove trash and debris, contributing to a cleaner and healthier environment.

RRHS Law and Public Safety students are actively training for the upcoming AZ SkillsUSA competition. Through hands-on scenarios, students are learning how to deescalate a suicidal suspect, conduct a traffic stops, and effectively handle shoplifting situations . Special thanks to Officer Mesta (Retired) for his invaluable mentorship and commitment to student learning. As we celebrate February as CTE Month, we proudly recognize the dedication of our students.
