These competitions provide valuable hands-on learning experiences that prepare students for future careers in engineering. Special thanks to Ms. Cardenas for always creating these opportunities for our students.

Students from Rio Rico High School Law and Public Safety program are proudly participating in the SkillsUSA Arizona regional competition, where they will demonstrate their knowledge and skills through realistic criminal justice scenarios. This opportunity allows students to apply classroom learning in hands-on situations that reflect real-world law enforcement practices . The Law and Public Safety students at Rio Rico High School proudly wore their uniforms to promote CTE Month and showcase their program. Their participation highlighted effective communication and commitment they are developing through Career and Technical Education. Tomorrow, students are encouraged to dress like Sports Medicine to continue celebrating the different CTE pathways on campus.

Kasadra Perez, an alumni, presented valuable insights to students in the Law and Public Safety program, connecting classroom learning to real-world experiences. Congratulations to Coach Nordgren and the wrestling program! Josue Bonilla and Christian Torres both punched a ticket into the AIA wrestling state championship tournament after their sectional performances this weekend.
Bonilla and Torres will join sectional champion, Jessence Octavio-Callejo in pursuit of state championships in their respective weight classes and divisions. Stay tuned for on-going coverage Thursday-Saturday this week from Veterans Memorial Coliseum in Phoenix!

Student Luke Faley played an important role by assisting with the sound system to ensure the event ran smoothly.
