Rio Rico High School Law and Public Safety students proudly visited San Cayetano Elementary to read with students in celebration of Read Across America Week. This activity allowed our students to serve as role models while promoting the importance of literacy. At RRHS, we strive to develop students who are engaged citizens and effective communicators while giving back to our community.

Twenty Sports RRHS Sports Medicine students recently provided hands-on CPR training for middle school students at CTMS and CMS. The training sessions focused on teaching essential life-saving skills, including proper chest compressions and emergency response techniques. This initiative was entirely student-led, with Sports Medicine students delivering the instruction. Their leadership and dedication helped empower younger students with the confidence and knowledge to respond in emergency situations.

The RRHS Law and Public Safety successfully completed the required training for students to obtain their Arizona Security Guard Card through the Arizona Department of Public Safety. This certification prepares students with the essential knowledge and skills needed to meet state requirements for the security profession. Earning the Arizona Security Guard Card allows our students to seek employment with licensed security companies throughout the state. We remain committed to ensuring every CTE program provides students with industry-recognized certifications.
