Rio Rico High School Alumni is commissioned a Second Lieutenant in the United States Army Transportation Corps
Rio Rico High School 2020 graduate Jose Chacon Quintero recently graduated from the United States Military Academy West Point (USMA) and invited his high school JROTC teacher, LTC St. Clair to participate in his graduation.
LTC Ronnie St. Clair traveled to West Point to administer the Officers Commissioning Oath to 2nd Lieutenant Jose Chacon at the United States Military Academy at West Point on 25 May 2024.
The JROTC Instructor retired after 21 years in the military and 27 years as a teacher and JROTC instructor. "Jose Chacon Quintero graduates from USMA and steps up to serve his country. Out with the old and in with the new. Hooah!!" said St. Clair.
