About Us

Welcome to Rio Rico High School, home of the Hawks!

We are one of five schools in Santa Cruz Valley Unified School District, located in beautiful southern Arizona.  Even in our small town, our students enjoy all the benefits of a large high school including culinary arts and language courses, financial literacy instruction, career and technical education, and so much more.

Therefore, all SCV35 school sites will administer state assessments and will follow CDC and county Health Department guidelines to ensure the safety of all staff and students. Protocols include temperature checks, physically distancing students, minimizing the number of students in each location, and requiring masks during the testing. If you have any questions concerning the protocols during state testing, please contact our front office at 520-375-8700.
