The mission of this event is to help our district families better prepare their children for the first day of school. We hope to see you there!

Summer School

If your child failed one or more classes, he or she must take summer school to graduate on time. We provide bus transportation, breakfast, and lunch at no additional charge. If your student would like to get ahead in credits, he or she can take P.E. (elective credit) or Spanish (foreign language credit). No other classes are available to get ahead in credits.

  • Session 1: May 29 to June 7
  • Session 2: June 11 to June 20
  • Time: 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
  • Cost: $100 for each ½ credit earned

We will accept registration until Tuesday, May 28 for the first session and Monday, June 10 for the second session. Classes fill quickly, so register today at the RRHS bookstore. Payment must accompany the registration form. We will accept partial payments to reserve your place in summer school. We do require payment in full before each session starts. We will assign the class based on your student’s needs; you do not need to choose their class. If you have further questions, please contact Teresa Potter by email.

Our goal is that all students are on track to graduate because we are a C2G school! "Commitment to graduate."

Thank you for your support,
Rio Rico High School Counselors
